Is 3 Oaks Pre-K open now?▾
Not yet. Our Pre-K program is pending final approval from the State of North Carolina, and we cannot enroll Pre-K students until that approval is granted. The waitlist is open in the meantime, and everyone on it hears first.
Does joining the waitlist cost anything or commit me?▾
No to both. There is no fee and no obligation. It simply puts your family in line and makes sure you hear about approval, dates and tuition directly from us rather than finding out later.
Where is the Pre-K located?▾
At our Sherrills Ford campus, 8057 Island Point Rd, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673 — the north end of Lake Norman, convenient to Terrell, Catawba, Denver, Maiden, Newton, Lincolnton and Mooresville.
What ages will the Pre-K serve?▾
Age ranges are being finalized as part of the state approval process. Tell us your child's date of birth on the waitlist form and we'll let you know exactly where they fit as soon as the details are confirmed.
How much will Pre-K tuition be?▾
Pre-K tuition hasn't been set yet — it will be published once the program is approved. Waitlist families receive the tuition schedule before it goes public. Our K–12 tuition and aid options are on the

Does my child need to continue at 3 Oaks after Pre-K?▾
Not at all. Many families do continue straight into our K–12 program on the same campus, which makes for an easy transition — but there's no obligation.
My child may have a learning difference. Is that a problem?▾
It's the opposite of a problem — it's what we're built for. 3 Oaks is a school for students with learning differences, and our teachers are trained to recognize and support them. In the Pre-K years, noticing early is one of the most valuable things a school can do.
