About 3 Oaks Academy

What grades does 3 Oaks Academy serve?

We serve students from Kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12). Our programs include Elementary (K-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12), each tailored to the developmental needs of students at that stage.

What is your student-to-teacher ratio?

We're not just 10:1. Our core learning groups typically consist of just 2-5 students, ensuring that every student gets the personalized attention they deserve. This is one of the key factors that makes our approach so effective.

What makes 3 Oaks Academy different from other private schools?

We're "not the school for everybody, but everybody deserves a chance to learn where that fits with them." Our small class sizes, flexible learning options, and Montessori-trained teachers enable true personalized education through individualized instruction. We serve students who need something different from traditional schooling.

Is 3 Oaks Academy a religious school?

No. 3 Oaks Academy is a non-profit, non-sectarian, private, independent school. We welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin, or sexual orientation.

Where is 3 Oaks Academy located?

Our Estero campus is located at 21101 Design Parc Ln #101, Estero, FL 33928. We're conveniently located in Southwest Florida, serving families from Estero, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Naples, and surrounding communities.

Academic Programs

Do you offer part-time or hybrid options?

Yes! Our Homeschool Hybrid program offers flexible learning with 1-5 day attendance options. This is perfect for homeschool families who want professional support, structure, and access to electives. We offer in-person, virtual, and blended classroom options.

What curriculum do you use?

We use a variety of curriculum resources tailored to each student's needs. Our Florida-certified, Montessori-trained teachers select and adapt materials through individualized instruction and hands-on learning experiences. We focus on building strong foundations while fostering authentic learning and a genuine love of discovery.

How do you group students for learning?

We group students by learning level, not just grade level. A 2nd grader reading on a 5th grade level works with advanced readers, while a 5th grader who needs to strengthen math foundations gets the support they need without affecting their progress in other subjects. This means we follow state standards while ensuring every child builds a rock-solid foundation—no gaps, no cracks.

Do you teach more than academics?

Absolutely. We believe in educating the whole child. Our students learn manners, community service, and what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves. We want our kids to be the ones who look you in the eye and say "good morning"—not ignore you. That's why service learning and character education are core to who we are, not afterthoughts.

What electives do you offer?

We offer a wide range of electives including Art, Spanish, STEAM, Choir, PE, Culinary, Engineering, Yearbook, ASL, Photography, Coding, and more. Elective offerings may vary by grade level and semester.

Do you offer dual enrollment for high school students?

Yes! We provide step-by-step guidance for dual enrollment. Each of our students who've expressed interest in dual enrollment has achieved passing scores on the PERT, Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT, allowing them to enroll in college classes at FSW or USF while still in high school.

How do you handle students with different learning needs?

We welcome students with IEPs, 504 plans, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. Our small class sizes (2-5 students) and individualized approach allow us to provide accommodations and support that larger schools simply can't offer. Every student gets the attention they need.

Enrollment & Tuition

When can my child start?

We offer rolling admissions year-round! There's no need to wait for a specific enrollment period. Students can enroll and begin at any point during the school year. Learn about our application process.

Is there an entrance exam?

We don't require standardized entrance exams. We assess each student individually through our family interview and review of previous records to understand their needs and ensure we can serve them well.

Do you accept Florida scholarships?

Yes! We accept multiple Florida scholarship programs including Step Up For Students, Family Empowerment Scholarships (FES-UA and FES-EO), Florida Tax Credit Scholarship, and Hope Scholarship. These can cover a significant portion—or even all—of tuition costs. Learn more about scholarships.

How much is tuition?

Tuition varies by program type (full-time, hybrid, part-time) and grade level. We offer flexible payment plans including annual, semester, and monthly options. Many families qualify for Florida scholarships that can significantly reduce or eliminate tuition costs. Use our tuition calculator for estimates.

What fees are required?

There is a $75 non-refundable application fee and a $250 enrollment deposit (which is applied toward your first tuition payment). Tuition includes all curriculum materials, electives access, and technology.

Can I tour the school before applying?
