Lauren Speck graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and a minor in English, from Iona College In New Rochelle, NY. She is certified in Exceptional Student Education and Mathematics 5-9. Ms. Speck managed a tutoring company from 2009-2013 both in Collier and Lee County. Lauren is currently teaching ESE/Math at Estero High School in Estero, FL, earning a Highly Effective rating for the last five years, as well as Lee County Teacher of the Year in 2017. Lauren meets the individual needs of all of her students. Having both patience and enthusiasm she is able to reach the various different types of learners, while increasing their confidence level. Her primary focus is to help students reach their educational goals, as well maintain a trusting relationship as their tutor.

Pamalea Baker graduated from Ohio University majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics. Pam has continued her education and in 2008 achieved National Board Certified Teacher status as well as earning her Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton. Ms Baker has 19 years teaching experience from elementary to high school. Pam has taught in Ohio, North Carolina, Florida and internationally in Dubai, UAE. Ms Baker is a Highly Effective Teacher and comes highly recommended by her students, parents, and peers. Pam believes in every child having their own set of educational needs and she works to develop the whole child not just the academics. She has a way of connecting to students which allows her students to build self-esteem and develop confidence in their abilities as a student and a member of society.

Joanne Walker is originally from Buffalo, New York. She is proud to call 3 Oaks Academy her home and is excited to help students reach their full potential. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Eastern Michigan, she moved to southwest Florida where she taught elementary and middle school students for the past 10 years earning the “High Impact Teacher of the Year” award twice in Lee County. When not teaching, her husband and her explore the amazing Florida wilderness by backpacking the 1300 mile Florida National Scenic Trail. Other hobbies include swimming, biking, kayaking, rollerblading, videography, camping and cooking. Volunteering at her church and helping with the youth ministry are both activities she finds rewarding. Sadie, her four year old puggle, makes sure there is never a dull moment around the house.
