Private School May Be More Affordable Than You Think
"A lot of families that are low income think, 'I can't send my kid to a private school.' Thankfully Florida has an amazing scholarship program." We accept multiple Florida scholarships that can cover significant tuition costs.
Scholarships We Accept
Florida offers several scholarship programs to help families access private education. Here are the programs we accept at 3 Oaks Academy.
Step Up For Students
Income-based scholarships for eligible Florida families. Covers tuition for students whose families meet income requirements. One of the most widely used programs.
Family Empowerment (FES-UA)
Universal access scholarship available to all Florida families regardless of income. Provides funding for private school tuition and approved educational expenses.
Family Empowerment (FES-EO)
For students with unique abilities and learning needs. Provides funding for students with IEPs, 504 plans, or documented disabilities.
Florida Tax Credit Scholarship
Funded by corporate tax credits, this income-based program helps lower and middle-income families access private education.
Hope Scholarship
For students who have experienced bullying, harassment, or safety incidents at their public school. Provides an immediate pathway to a safer learning environment.

How to Apply for Scholarships
The scholarship application process is separate from school enrollment. Here's how to get started.
Check Eligibility
Visit the scholarship program websites to review eligibility requirements. Income-based programs have specific thresholds, while FES-UA is available to all Florida families.
Create an Account
Register on the Step Up For Students website (stepupforstudents.org) or the appropriate scholarship portal. You'll need basic family information to get started.
Submit Documentation
Provide required documents such as proof of Florida residency, income verification (if applicable), and student identification. For FES-EO, include IEP/504 documentation.
Select 3 Oaks Academy
Once approved, choose 3 Oaks Academy as your scholarship school. We'll coordinate with the scholarship organization to apply funds directly to your tuition.

We're Here to HelpScholarship FAQ
Can scholarships cover full tuition?
Yes, depending on the program and your family's situation, scholarships can cover a significant portion or even 100% of tuition costs. We work with each family to maximize available funding.
Can I apply for multiple scholarships?
You can apply to see which programs you qualify for, but you can typically only use one scholarship at a time. Our team can help you determine which option provides the best coverage for your family.
When should I apply for scholarships?
Apply as early as possible! Some programs have limited funding and are first-come, first-served. We recommend starting the application process 2-3 months before you plan to enroll.
What if I'm not approved for a scholarship?
Don't worry—we offer flexible payment plans and can work with you to find a solution. Many families who initially don't qualify for one program find they're eligible for another.
Do I apply for the scholarship or the school first?
You can do both simultaneously! We recommend scheduling a tour and starting your 3 Oaks application while also beginning the scholarship application process. This ensures you're ready to enroll once funding is confirmed.
Will you help me with the scholarship application?
Absolutely! While we can't complete the application for you, we're happy to guide you through the process, answer questions, and help ensure you have all the documentation you need.
